Christina Aguilera launches her new perfume Woman, coming out in September 2014. The fragrance supposedly embodies true femininity; this woman is sensual and joyful, and above all, she feels comfortable in her own skin.

The scent opens with accords of bergamot and pink pepper, litchi and pear. The heart includes magnolia and rose with violet leaves and honey. The base consists of golden amber, tonka bean and sandalwood.

Christina Aguilera has quite a lot to be excited about in these upcoming months. She's engaged to be married (to Matt Rutler, pictured in the slideshow above), will return to judging The Voice on next year's Season 8, and she's happily working on a new album. Add to all that a brand new baby sister for her six-year-old son Max, and she's looking at a very full plate. Then again, when, since her first rise to super-stardom back in 1999, hasn't she? That drive, along with a unique devotion to transition, is exactly what keeps just about everyone interested in all 5'2" of the phenomenally-voiced Aguilera. Whether it be for her music, her fashion sense, her personal life, or her physique, she hasn’t left the headlines in over a decade, and still, she concedes, nothing can hold her down ("never can, never will"). Xtina's taken her own public image's iterations as impetus for creative outlet, unafraid to show her fans not only her triumphs, but her struggles, in each artistic evolution—and that includes how she presents herself to the media's hydra-like heads. Feeling especially inspired by her own recent pregnancy (the ultimate transition) Aguilera wanted to capture some blissful moments before she gives birth, calling on photographer Brian Bowen Smith, whose work she has admired for some time now.

Giving VMagazine.com the exclusive new images, she tells us, "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.” Beautiful.

The countdown is on for Christina Aguilera, whose due date for her second child is just around the bend. But she's ready — thanks, in part, to a baby shower.

New photos of the bash, which took place July 12, surfaced Tuesday and the Lotus singer, 33, is in full bloom — both her belly and her floral crown. Her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, was by her side for the co-ed evening bash, which was held at the home of the singer's stylist and lasted past midnight.

Aguilera wore a curve-hugging cream dress with a blazer on top and was barefoot for most of the night. She hung out — and snuggled with and kissed Rutler — amid the laid-back décor, including floor pillows, hurricane lanterns, and dangling paper lights.

Partygoers also played that shower game where they guesstimated how large Aguilera's baby belly was by cutting pieces of string that would represent the right size. Oh, those wild and crazy baby shower games!

According to E! News, guests noshed on breaded chicken, veggie burgers, sliders, fresh salads, and mini grilled cheese sandwiches. There were cocktails — and mocktails! — served and they had cute little names like "It's Almost Time" and "Pink Cheek."

There was also an interesting cake, which featured a woman giving birth on the floor with the baby's head (with lots of hair!) poking out. In pink lettering on the top it read, "Push, Xtina. Push." (If you're so inclined, you can see it here.)

Aguilera, who's due in August, is thinking pink these days. She and Rutler, whom she met on the set of 2010's Burlesque, are having a girl. (She has a 6-year-old son, Max, from her first marriage.) In an interview with People magazine in the spring, she called her pregnancy "enjoyable" and "very easy."

Now, it's almost over and time for baby.

"BEHIND THE MUSIC: LINDA PERRY" PREMIERES JULY 16th AT 9:00PM*

In the latest episode of VH1's iconic bio series, Linda Perry candidly reveals, for the first time publically, the mental and physical abuse she suffered as a child. She turned her angst into emotionally charged songs and soared to rock stardom as the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes. But at her peak, Linda quit the band and fell into a heroin habit. However, she went on to reinvent herself as a producer and songwriter for the stars, penning hits for Pink, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and her greatest triumph, "Beautiful" for Christina Aguilera. She also started her own label, and was the first to sign and break British singer-songwriter James Blunt in the United States. Along with her professional success, Linda also found solace in her personal life, falling in love and marrying her partner and soulmate, actress Sara Gilbert. This episode features interviews with Sara Gilbert, Pink, Christina Aguilera and Courtney Love.

"Behind the Music: Linda Perry" is executive produced for VH1 by Susan Levison, Brad Abramson and Stephen Mintz, with Mary Wharton producing. Executives in charge of music talent for VH1 are Rick Krim and Leah Horwitz.
